The only location in the Australian Post Code list beginning with X is Xantippe. It is said that when the workers building Australia’s Rabbit Proof Fence hit Xantippe, the ground was so hard they could barely make a dent on the surface. They named the place for Socrates’ wife who was reported to be a cold, hard woman.
