The B towns that I’ve chosen for today are Ballarat and Boggabilla.
Ballarat is a regional city in Victoria built on the goldrushes of the nineteenth century. The streetscapes of Ballarat retain the architecture from that period. It’s a lovely city and well worth a visit. http://visitballarat.com.au
Boggabilla is a small town in Northern New South Wales. Although the town is right near the border with Queensland, the highway crosses over closer to Goondiwindi. Nevertheless, Boggabilla signals that the Sunshine State is in sight.
Ballarat
History abounds
Buildings carefully intact
Gracious Ballarat.
Boggabilla
Driving highways north
Boggabilla border town
Marks my homecoming.
