I originally named this site, “Polishing Brolgas” because Australian brolgas are beautiful creatures. They’re a little bit gawky and gangly but when they dance, they are polished performers. That’s the way I see the words that I write in all their various forms. With a bit of polish, they can free the imagination to dance or to sing, to escape or to find love in unexpected places.
